Local-first restaurant operations

Your restaurant. In sync.

Every order. Every station. One system.

Billing, kitchen orders, waiter phones and the day's records run together on your restaurant's computer and local network. The counter keeps working when the internet goes down.

One-time licence for one outlet. Setup assistance available.

Connected service

From the waiter’s phone to the owner’s report.

One order moves through the people who run service. Captain does not take payment. The bill is finished at the counter.

  1. 01

    Waiter phone

Captain opens in the phone’s browser on the restaurant network. The waiter selects the table and sends the order.

  2. 02

    Kitchen ticket

New items print for the kitchen. A later cancellation prints with a reason. The floor shows what is still waiting.

  3. 03

    Counter billing

The cashier records the payment, prints the bill, and can include GST when it is turned on.

  4. 04

    Owner reporting

Sales, discounts, voids and the day’s other records stay on the same computer.

Daily service

What the system is for.

Billing

Dine-in, takeaway, self-service and recorded delivery. Cash, card, UPI and split payments are recorded at the counter. GST appears on the bill when you turn it on.

Kitchen

Kitchen tickets from the counter or from Captain. Partial sends, void reasons, and a check of your printer before installation.

Captain

Waiters use a compatible phone’s browser on your Wi-Fi. It needs the POS computer and the local gateway. It is not an app-store product, and it cannot settle a bill.

Records

Bills, discounts, purchases, expenses, attendance and salary advances stay on the billing computer, with backup and restore.

Recording a payment is not the same as processing UPI, card or online money. A delivery order can be written in and marked ready. Swiggy and Zomato orders are not imported, and those apps still take that payment.

Offline-first

Internet down. The counter can keep working.

RestoNiti and its working database run on the POS computer. An internet outage by itself does not stop orders, kitchen tickets or billing, as long as that computer, the app, power, printers and the local network are up.

  • On the computer Daily operations do not wait on a cloud connection.
  • On your Wi-Fi Captain phones talk to the POS over the restaurant network.
  • A copy you keep Backup and restore are local. Nothing is uploaded for you, and a backup does not happen unless you make it. Keep a copy away from the billing computer.

Internet Installation and updates only. It is not the path between these devices during service.

Restaurant local network

POS computer Application and working database
  • Kitchen printerTickets from the POS
  • Bill printerBills from the POS
  • Captain phonesBrowser on restaurant Wi-Fi
This does not run without the POS computer, power, the printers you use, or the local network. Captain needs the gateway on that computer.

Owner visibility

See the day that was recorded.

Sales, how bills were paid, discounts, purchases, expenses and the profitability view sit in reports on the same computer. Receipts can be reprinted from bill history.

Reports show what was entered. They do not promise a profit, and they do not reconcile every cost on their own.

A sample day: bills, discounts, and how they were paid.

Accountability

The team, and who changed what.

People

Attendance and salary advances are recorded on the POS computer.

Changes

Voids and discounts can require a reason. Owner review covers the changes that need a second look.

Roles

Not every person sees every screen. Captain can send an order. Payment stays with the cashier at the counter.

Setup and support

A demo with your menu, then a checked install.

  1. 1

    Tell us about the restaurant.

WhatsApp your type of service, a photo of the menu, and what you use today.

  2. 2

    Watch the real workflow.

We show orders, kitchen tickets and bills with a version of your menu. The menu is not imported by itself, and the demo is not an installation unless we agree to one.

  3. 3

    Install only if it fits.

Optional one-time onboarding can cover installation, users, supported printers and basic training. We confirm what is included, and the cost, before that work starts.

Support after installation is the assistance we agree to cover. There is no promised response time, round-the-clock desk, or unlimited on-site visits.

Licence and hardware

One outlet. One-time licence.

RestoNiti Basic is a perpetual offline licence for one restaurant. We explain the licence, onboarding and applicable costs on WhatsApp before you decide. No amount is listed here.

What you still provide

  • A Windows 10 or 11 computer, 64-bit, not in S mode. We check it before installation.
  • A thermal bill printer and a kitchen printer if your workflow needs them. Printers are not included, and the model must be checked.
  • Restaurant Wi-Fi if waiters use phones. Counter billing does not need a live internet connection.

Taxes, and anything charged separately, are explained in the enquiry. The computer and printers are yours.

Questions worth asking first.

Does RestoNiti work without the internet?

Yes. The application and operational data run on the POS computer, so an internet outage alone does not stop normal counter service. The computer, app, power, printers and required local network must still be available.

Where is the data stored?

On the POS computer. Backup and restore are included. Keep a separate copy so a fault on that computer does not leave you without one.

Can waiters take orders on their phones?

Yes. Captain runs in the phone’s browser on the restaurant network. The POS gateway must be available. Captain cannot settle the bill.

Does Captain work if the computer or Wi-Fi is down?

No. Captain is not an offline queue. If the POS computer, gateway or local network is unavailable, order submission from the phone cannot be relied on.

Does the bill show GST?

When GST is turned on and your details are entered, applicable bills can show GST. Check the setup against your own requirements. This is not tax advice.

Can I use the computer and printers I already have?

Possibly. It depends on the Windows version, the printer model and how it connects. Send the details and we will check before installation. New hardware is not assumed, and it is not included.

Do you import Swiggy or Zomato orders?

No. A delivery order can be recorded and marked ready. That is not a direct connection, and those apps still take the customer’s payment.

Is this a monthly subscription?

RestoNiti Basic is a one-time perpetual licence for one outlet. Ask us for the licence cost and any separate charges.

Are cloud backup and QR ordering included?

No. This licence is local storage and local backup. Cloud backup, a cloud owner dashboard and customer QR-menu ordering are not part of it.
